Top 5 Quick-Start Strategies for Business Expansion

You’ve started it. Now you’re ready to scale. 

But before you do so, you must do it carefully and with a whole lot of thoughtful planning. Plan to hold two separate business planning sessions over two separate days. If possible, you may choose to have your planning sessions up to a week apart. You must also have a back up plan in case everything you’ve thought of did not pan out the way you expected them to. 

Here are top 5 Quick Start Strategies you can implement for your own business expansion:

 

Make sure your vision statement is clear

It’s the starting point of any business. But it could also change as years go by. Depending on the stage of life you’re in, and the level of business success you’ve been able to achieve. 

Articulate your business vision for each time period listed above. When you are a start up, usually the vision statement is for you. But as your business grows, you’ll begin to see how it becomes not just for you but for your customers or clients too. 

 

Set Your priorities straight

My vision statement for next year was closely related to three areas of my business that I believed were most important in my first session. It might not be the same for you. If that’s the case, then consider the three aspects you've chosen and rank them from most important to least important.

This way you can be able to know which comes first in your business priority. And how you can scale your business to your desired outcome. 

 

Evaluate

When you evaluate you use the SWOT analysis. Meaning you evaluate your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. 

Doing this allows you to know where you stand, your boundaries and the direction you’d like your business to take, starting now and in the future. 

 

Set goals

Make it specific! 

This will help you evaluate your progress. Have a set date when you will accomplish them. In addition to boosting your motivation, they provide a way for you to evaluate your progress.

Develop as many action goals as you think necessary to achieve your next-year vision statement. This will help you act in accordance to your goals and will make it easy for you to evaluate your actions and future plans. 

 

Make it happen! 

Yes! You may be scared to take this type of leap but it’s either this or you can go back to your comfort zone.

But if you want to expand your business.  If there’s a word of advice I will have for you. It’s this, you have to take every actionable step in order to grow. 

And once you did, take a step back and go back to step one. This way, you can evaluate to see how much you’ve grown over the months or years that you are on business.
