Independence. 

Entrepreneurs rely on it for motivation. 

In addition to potentially earning more money, there are those who really can't stand being just a corporate employee. So they choose to be a business owner and an entrepreneur. 

Nothing wrong with that. In fact let’s discuss the kind of independence most entrepreneurs enjoy while they build the business of their dreams: 

The first is loving the challenge to become creative. Entrepreneurs feel that there is an incentive to offer something no one else has done before. It's no different than the challenge an artist feels on a new canvas, or what a musician feels when composing a new piece of music.

Regulations and rules are minimal. There is often much "red tape" in conventional jobs and necessary administration approval ahead of time in order to finish work. The rules don't exist in a startup, until you decide to make them.

Next is the decision-making responsibility. Generally, the buck stops with you when making decisions. After all, it’s your own business. Despite sounding like an advantage, this is actually a major source of stress for startup founders. 

However, entrepreneurs cherish the continuous challenges of a startup and the satisfaction they gain from overcoming them. It may be challenging for typical individuals, but for entrepreneurs, these types of challenges breeds independence in them. 

Last but not least, it's having tons of self discovery. Yes there may be a lot of competitors out there for your business. This is why you will need to establish your niche well and ensure that you are presenting your offer better than the rest.

Ultimately however, entrepreneurship is not about racing against others but finding out who you are. Discovering your strength and your weakness is a great lesson you can draw from in your life’s journey as an entrepreneur. In fact, it’s where many people find inspiration from.
